Current aid evaluation methodologies are ineffective because field workers do not have a platform to efficiently collect, analyze, and disseminate qualitative and quantitative data using digital technologies. Mobile Aid Evaluation creates a mobile phone application and website that allows aid workers to collect data, photos, and videos in real-time from the field to effectively track the progress of their projects. By linking this service to existing social media platforms, aid agencies will be able to keep the public constantly updated on their progress, which allows for greater transparency for the aid industry as a whole.
